terms and conditions 

1. Bookings & Payments

  • All bookings must be made in advance via email.

  • Payment is required in full on the day of service, unless otherwise agreed in writing.

  • We accept cash, bank transfer, or other agreed methods of payment.

2. Cancellations & Rescheduling

  • A minimum of 24 hours’ notice is required for cancellations or rescheduling.

  • Cancellations with less than 24 hours’ notice may be subject to a 50% cancellation fee.

  • If we are unable to access the property at the agreed time, this will be treated as a late cancellation.

3. Services Provided

  • We will carry out cleaning services as agreed at the time of booking.

  • Our cleaners will provide their own products and equipment unless otherwise arranged.

  • Deep cleaning services (including oven, fridge/freezer, carpet, and upholstery cleaning) may take longer than standard cleaning and will be priced separately.

4. Customer Responsibilities

  • Customers must ensure access to the property at the agreed time.

  • The property should have running water and electricity available.

  • Valuables and fragile items should be safely stored prior to cleaning.

5. Liability & Insurance

  • The Cosy Clean Company holds valid Public Liability Insurance. In the unlikely event of accidental damage or injury, our liability is limited to the terms of our insurance policy.

  • While we take the utmost care, we cannot be held liable for pre-existing damage, wear and tear, or defects in items or surfaces cleaned.

  • We are not responsible for damage caused by poor condition, faulty materials, or incorrect installation of household fixtures.

  • Any complaints must be reported within 24 hours of the service being completed.

6. Health & Safety

  • For health and safety reasons, we are unable to clean areas deemed unsafe, such as high exterior windows or hazardous environments.

  • We reserve the right to refuse or discontinue a service if a property is deemed unsafe for our staff.

7. Changes to Terms

  • The Cosy Clean Company reserves the right to amend these Terms & Conditions at any time. Updated versions will be made available on our website/business page.
